The videos don't seem to be working. Have you found other sources of these to use?

I almost dropped off the face of the earth again, but I didn't mean to leave our conversation open-ended awhile back. I'm just catching up... :)

well, he fairly well describes the dilemma!

God and Christ's Church are the answer and not until something come out against this dilemma will this two party control freak change!

Solutions?

The solution to the pollution is not dilution it's absolution!

I thought Ron Paul's quotation of Carrol Quigley was very salient. It's true there really is no difference between the two establishment candidates.

Michael

"The solution to the pollution is not dilution it's absolution!"

:) That's great Michael. A very Lutheran statement. The heart of all of the political and global woes stem from a rejection of God's Lordship. The economic crises is due to avarice, greed and even malice.

The videos should be working, but here's the links:

Bobby

here are two passages dealing with the same "nut".

Both embrace the problem and give the Godly "solution", i.e. the pithy saying I published above and you acknowledged.

I will post the entirety of the passages so your reader doesn't have to turn in their bible to confirm it, unless of course they are Bereans and noble of spirit?

Consider what the "Feds" are doing to bail out the lending institutions and AIG when you read this and further consider that "there is nothing new under the sun", what was shall be yet again!

Deu 15:1 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.
Deu 15:2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth aught unto his neighbor shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbor, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release.
Deu 15:3 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;
Deu 15:4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:
Deu 15:5 Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.
Deu 15:6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations, but they shall not reign over thee.
Deu 15:7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:
Deu 15:8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.
Deu 15:9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him naught; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.
Deu 15:10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.
Deu 15:11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.
Deu 15:12 And if thy brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.
Deu 15:13 And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:
Deu 15:14 Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.
Deu 15:15 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing today.

and the New approach in sacrifical form and expression which if we would just roll up our sleeves and do instead of campaign doing to garnish votes the poor would come to work hard and become strong in the Lord and the strength of His Might:::>

Act 20:33 I have coveted no man's silver, or gold, or apparel.
Act 20:34 Yea, ye yourselves know, that these hands have ministered unto my necessities, and to them that were with me.
Act 20:35 I have showed you all things, how that so laboring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

That's really great Michael. Those passages are really illuminating giving us the Lord's view on money and debt. That's why the real issue comes back to wicked lost men being reconciled with God, because until they know forgiveness they are wholly unable to forgive others even of silly things like money.
