More on Virginia Tech...

Here is a link to the post that Doug Wilson has made regarding the Virginia tech shooting. Wilson does an excellent job, as usual, in pointing us to the truth in Christianity. Like my post (below) he too is showing how although most Atheists are probably grieving over this and would say that it was "wrong", they really have no reason to. I am debating purchasing his "Letter from a Christian Citizen" a response to Sam Harris' "Letter to a Christian Nation". Here is the Link

I want to say that when an atheist says "I don't believe in God but I am still a moral person"...

that the atheists person is moral because God exists - even if he/she denies his existence. The Moral Law stays put whether you believe in it, or not.

Hey Mellisa,
Thanks for the linke it was an interesting read. That really seems to be my hang up with Dawkins is that he now is a sort of Atheist pope running around evangelizing the English speaking world with the "intellectually freeing" truths of Atheism.

Edgar,
Thanks for stopping by again, I think you are absolutely correct. Although Atheists simply can not furnish a sufficient reasonable base for their moral actions (when they base morality on Atheism) this does not stop them from making moral judgements and actions and supposing that they are meaningful. This is because as you said there is a moral law written in us, because we are beings made in the image of God.
